Emirates has increased schedules to Jeddah and Medina for pilgrims heading to and from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Hajj.

It will be operating 33 additional flights to Jeddah and Medina from August 6 to 31.

These will run in parallel with Emirates’ regularly scheduled services to Jeddah and Medina.

Emirates will also be deploying a two-class A380 to Jeddah from 5-14 August, returning pilgrims back to Dubai and their onward connections from August 26-31.

These additional flight services are available to travellers holding a valid Hajj visa.

On flights from Jeddah, Hajj passengers can bring up to 5 litres of holy water (Zamzam) which will be placed in special areas in the cargo hold.
