Expedition Cruise Network unveils agent training platform

The Expedition Cruise Network (ECN) has rolled out Expedition Cruise Academy – a new training platform for travel trade partners.
Now live, it comes as ECN celebrates its second anniversary this month.
The new travel training platform will offer a choice of free and premium memberships.
The platform will complement the current series of webinars, face-to-face events and insight guides.
Free training will offer access to courses on ECN’s cruise members.
The main advantage of these taster courses on ECN suppliers is that each course follows the same format, providing a comprehensive overview of the expedition cruise operator.
This comprises details of its fleet – complete with downloadable fleet sheets – key destinations, unique selling points, and available trade resources.
In addition to supplier courses, premium members will benefit from content that explores the wider expedition cruise industry in greater depth – covering topics such as destination training, expedition cruising jargon and how it compares to other forms of travel.
There is also guidance on matching the right ship and operator to the right client.
The easy-to-use platform will offer an overview of the sector with access to online courses, selling guides, downloadable fleet sheets, brand USPs, insight reports and priority access for fam trips and exclusive events.
Each training section will conclude with a short quiz and downloadable certificate upon completion.
Akvile Marozaite, CEO of Expedition Cruise Network said: “We are incredibly excited to launch The Expedition Cruise Academy.”
“There is nothing like this comprehensive hub on expedition cruise in the market today.”
Earlier this year, ECN announced the Expedition Cruise Network Conference 2025, to be held at Glaziers Hall on Tuesday 30 September & Wednesday 1 October 2025.
Over 21 exhibitor cruise lines and more than 100 buyers have already signed up.
