Farebase boosts hotel content

Agents using the Farebase portal can now book hotels in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Asia/Pacific.

In the last three weeks Farebase has signed agreements with Caribbean Hotels, MedHotels, and Ehotel Direct, and at WTM signed an agreement with HoteRes, operated by Reliance Travel.

Farebase managing director, Jon Constantine told TravelMole: “They are all new elements to the portal – previously most of the hotels on the website were city focused, so these companies are a good fit”.

Farebase has also signed up First4Extras, which includes UK airport parking, hotels and airport lounge access, and A.H Risk Limited for travel insurance.

Mr Constantine told TravelMole Farebase was in discussions with a number of other potential partners, which he expected to be able to announce soon.
