At least four people, including a nine-year-old child, have been killed in a collision between a speedboat and tourist boat in Greece.

The incident happened just off the island of Aegina, close to the capital Athens.

One of the men killed is believed to have been the captain of the tourist boat and four others have been injured. The other two who died are also believed to be men, although the nationalities of the victims have not yet been disclosed.

At least 21 people have been rescued by coastguard vessels, private boats and helicopter.

Reports say the tourist boat was taking people on a daytrip from Aegina to a beach on the nearby island of Moni.
