Scandinavian carrier Finnair is adding another transatlantic route to the US from next summer.
Finnair will fly three times a week nonstop to San Francisco from Helsinki on June 1 through September.
The seasonal route will be flown with Airbus A330-300 jets.
"We are very pleased to be taking another step forward in the growth of our airline as San Francisco is an exciting new destination for all of our customers," said Finnair chief commercial officer Juha Järvinen.
Finnair already flies from Helsinki to New York JFK, Miami and Chicago O’Hare.
At the same time the airline announced a new seasonal route from Helsinki to Alicante, Spain, which will begin March 26 until October 27.
