First Class Holidays acquires African Pride

Manchester based long haul specialist First Class Holidays has added to new travel brands to its portfolio.
It has acquired The Knavesmire Travel Group which encompasses sister brands African Pride and Knighton Reeve.
The multimillion-pound deal was supported by investment partner PHD Industrial Holdings.
African Pride and Knighton Reeve offer tailor made holidays to Africa and the India Ocean.
African Pride was established 25 years ago.
Dan Gathercole, MD at First Class Holidays, said: “Our acquisition of African Pride reflects the determination to strengthen our current offering and market position.”
“We look forward to this next stage of growth for the team.”
The value of the deal has not been disclosed.
First Class Holidays has been recently expanding its offering, adding Southeast Asia.
It also recently announced Japan holidays via a partnership with Wendy Wu Tours.
