Galileo International Inc. announced the introduction of Galileo Best Available Rate.
It will provide agents access to the best available published rates offered either online or via hotel reservation numbers at top hotel chains, the company said.
Galileo has over 4,000 hotel properties, giving agents “one-stop shopping,” according to the GDS that is a subsidiary of Cendant Corp.
Galileo says it is the first and only GDS to sign contractual agreements with major hotel chains such as Marriott International to provide access to their best available published rates through the GDS.
Said Eileen Kennedy, vice president, Marketing, Galileo Americas:
“With Galileo Best Available Rate, we provide our agents with an incredible resource for one-stop shopping on great hotel rates and content.”
The new rate structure is available in a series of programs and technologies.
