Go First extends grounding again
Grounded airline Go First said that it has once again extended its planned restart.
It has cancelled all flights until 18 August ‘due to operational reasons,’ it tweeted.
The cash-strapped airline has grounded all flights since 3 May.
It filed for voluntary insolvency the day before.
It cited long running issues with planes fitted with Pratt & Whitney engines.
Regulator DGCA conducted a special audit of Go First last month and gave it a conditional go-ahead to resume.
However, the airline has seemingly been unable to get enough aircraft operational to meet the regulator’s minimum service requirement.
