Portman Travel marketing and development director Bob Govan has left the company due to “strategic differencesâ€.
The travel management company issued a statement saying it is finalising terms of separation with Govan, who was a member of Portman’s board.
It has appointed Peter Jones as group director of sales and marketing.
“Peter is a very experienced manager, having a background of performing this role in various businesses including Reed Elsevier (Exhibitions), Procter & Gamble and Diageo amongst others,†said the statement.
