Greece expansion signalled by Cosmos
Five new destinations in Greece have been introduced for next summer by Cosmos.
The islands of Lefkas, Santorini and Skiathos are added as well as the mainland resorts of Halkidiki and Parga.
The existing programme to the islands of Corfu, Rhodes, Kefalonia, Crete, Zante and Kos has also been expanded.
A dedicated brochure is due to be published on December 18 to showcase the expanded programme.
Head of mainstream products Ian Hailes said: “Part of our long term strategy is to expand our presence in Greece, Turkey and Egypt.
“We have targeted key resorts and properties and extended our flying programme to cover the new destinations.â€
The resorts of Hanioti, Sani, Nea Moudania, Kalithea and Kriopighi are introduced in Halkidiki.
The Skiathos programme offers Achladies, Aghia Paraskevi, Kolios, Koukounaries, Skiathos Town and Troulos.
Flights to Preveza will service Parga and the island of Lefkas. The programme to Santorini features the resorts of Perissa and Kamari.
Prices for the new resorts lead in at £299 per person based on seven nights self-catering at the 3 diamond rated Alkion Aparthotel in Kriopighi, Halkidiki.
The overall lead-in is £279 per person based on seven nights self-catering at the three diamond rated Marios Studios in Laganas.
