Doubletree Hotels announced that high-speed internet access and guest printing services would be available in all its guest rooms by the end of the year. Nearly half of the 160 Doubletree hotels, or 41,000 rooms, are already offering high-speed internet service, according to the hotel. Users will be able to surf the web at speeds of up to 50 times faster than dial-up connections. The service will also be backed up by a 24-hour toll-free customers support line. Many Doubletree hotels are also already offering high-speed internet access in hotel lobbies, lounges, restaurants and public areas. Report by David Wilkening
