Hilton Whistler Appoints New Manager
The Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa announced the appointment of Stephen Webb to the position of General Manager. Stephen brings a wealth of knowledge from over 25 years of experience in the tourism and hospitality industry, holding senior management positions in both branded and independently owned hotels.
He will oversee operations, development, sales and marketing of the Resort, and lead the organization in its development towards the 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games and beyond.
Born and educated in England, Stephen has a diverse array of experience including having worked in England, France, USA and across Canada. In his previous roles he has been instrumental in creating cultures and environments that lead to the development of successful, service-oriented teams.
He was responsible for developing expansion plans and launching several projects, such as The Westin Bear Mountain development, Victoria, the General Manager at Hotel Grand Pacific, Victoria and his most recent experience as Vice President of Operations for Stone Creek Resorts, Calgary.
