Holiday Inn Express for Bali
IHG’s Holiday Inn Express will make its debut in Legian, Bali, in 2013. It will become the first Holiday Inn Express in Indonesia.
The proposed 160-room property is slated to start construction mid this year.
Jan Smits, CEO of IHG Asia Australasia, said, "“The key to Holiday Inn Express’ rapid expansion is the value it provides for the mid-market, select service segment.”
He said the focus is on providing "only what guests need, and not charging for what they don’t".
Holiday Inn Express Bali Legian will operate under the new brand standards that were rolled out recently as part of the Holiday Inn family of brands global $1-billion relaunch.
In Asia Pacific, the Holiday Inn Express brand is expanding rapidly from its current 30 hotels and will open new hotels in Thailand, Singapore and India within the next few years.
