Hong Kong bans transit from over 150 countries

Hong Kong is cracking down by banning transit from over 150 countries and territories at Hong Kong International Airport. The transit ban will last for a month as Hong Kong doubles down on its uncompromising zero-Covid policy.
Passengers coming directly from in the 150 places are determined as ‘high risk’ and include travellers from the US and UK. Last week, Hong Kong imposed a two-week ban on incoming flights from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, France, India, Pakistan and the Philippines.
