Getting married? The Conrad Miami is offering a "Down on One Knee" package that has perhaps typical touches such as champagne and special pillows. It also includes a romantic dinner for two with a special chef’s menu, a "cozy" in room breakfast, VIP roundtrip transportation to the airport in the hotel’s Audi A8, and a 50-minute couples massage. The cost for one night is $525.The package is good from June 20 to Dec. 22.

Fairmont has a variety of new summer packages geared at families that include:

—The Fairmont Le Chateau Montebello in Quebec is offering a Summer Family Fun Package" on its 65,000 acres of secluded forest. The package includes accommodation for two adults and two children under age 13, daily buffet breakfast, daily dinners at Aux Chantignoles or the outdoor BBQ, unlimited mini-putt, canoeing and kayaking, one-hour pontoon boat cruise, and one family admission to Parc Oméga wildlife park. Available from June 1 – September 12, at rates starting at $440 CAD per night (with a two-night minimum stay required).

—The Fairmont Royal Pavilion’s "Family Barbadian Adventure" offers a second room for kids at 50% off. While the resort is adults-only for most of the year, in summer the whole family can indulge in daily buffet or a la carte breakfast and complimentary daily activities and entertainment for children of all ages. These include kid friendly movie nights, water-sports and talent shows, complimentary non-motorized water sports and more. Available through October 31, 2012, rates start from $480 USD for the first room and $240 USD for the second room.

 —The Fairmont Heritage Place, Franz Klammer Lodge in Telluride, Colorado, is offering the "Children’s Discovery Package." Kids can embark on an outdoor education with EcoAdventures, operated by Telluride Ski and Golf Company, which offers a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. Possibilities range from trekking & tracking to cool kitchen science to discovering animal tracks in the woods. Available from May 23 to October 14, rates start at $250 USD for a two-bedroom residence.

 —Another family deal from Ocean Club Resorts, views as a top resort in the Turks & Caicos for family travel, is offering a rate for a family of four persons with three days of meals starting as low as $388 per night, based on a "Studio Deluxe." Valid for travel now through December 20. It includes three days of breakfast, lunch and dinner, a two-day, sub-compact car rental, a $25 on-site merchant gift certificate, and all taxes and service fees. Amenities include fully equipped kitchens or kitchenettes, a washer and dryer available in most suites, complimentary bikes, two fitness centers, three swimming pools, two tennis courts and complimentary tennis equipment. Ocean Club is adjacent to the Provo Golf Club, while Ocean Club West is a convenient walk to local boutiques, restaurants and a local grocery.
