Interactive Travel Agency has bought the rights to OfficialTravelGuide.com, a travel portal of more than 1,250 destinations owned by the International Association of Convention & Visitor Bureaus (IACVB).

OfficialTravelGuide.com will continue to be the exclusive portal for IACVB and its convention and visitor bureau members, said Michael Gehrisch, president and CEO of IACVB.

“With over a decade of online travel promotion experience, usdm.net is the proven internet marketing and technology leader and a trusted source for numerous destination marketing organizations across the globe,” he said.

As part of the ownership changeover, DMOs are receiving direct linked traffic to their Web sites from the portal, as well as access to new marketing opportunities.
