Iberia strikes and the early Easter hit premium bookings in March for British Airways’ parent IAG.
Its premium traffic for the month of March fell by 2% compared to the same month last year, while non- premium traffic was up slightly 0.5%.
Group traffic increased by 0.1% and capacity was down 1.1%.
March was impacted by five days of striking by Iberia cabin crew and ground employees’ unions, leading to the cancellation of 36% of the airline’s flights.
