ICE snaps up 1st4cruising.com
Loyalty programme specialist International Cruise & Excursions (ICE) Europe has bought some of the assets of Leicester- based Total Travel Leisure Holdings including the company’s website domains 1st4cruising.com and Voyana.com.
As part of the deal, Total Travel’s database of customers will be transferred to ICE, whose head office and administration centre are in Kettering and it has a customer contact centre in Cork, Ireland.
Total Travel Leisure Holdings was formed last year when 1st4cruising.com’s parent went into administration. 1st4cruising.com is one of the UK’s leading cruise holiday websites, providing advice to more than 100,000 customers. Its sister domain Voyana Luxury Cruising has over 25 years experience in providing bespoke luxury cruise holidays.
ICE Europe’s senior vice president Warren Joy said: "Everything will look and feel the same and we aim to provide a seamless transition for both existing customers and cruise suppliers, many of whom have enjoyed excellent, long-standing relationships with ICE."
Joy said that the acquisition of the website and database, for an undisclosed sum, represented a great fit for ICE.
"1st4cruising.com and Voyana.com drive sales of around £15million per annum with a loyal customer base. We will be able to service these clients using our proven customer relationship management systems and introduce them to a wider range of holiday options through our established loyalty reward schemes."
ICE is a global travel and leisure organisation providing cruise and travel programmes, membership reward and loyalty programmes and cruise and holiday fulfilment services to corporate brands worldwide.
