India extends international flight suspension
India’s Director General of Civil Aviation has extended the ban on regular scheduled international flights until 31 January 2022. International flights were set to resume this month but it reassessed the 15 December date due to on the rise in Omicron cases around the world.
India allows international flights under bilateral travel bubbles and has them with 28 countries. These are unaffected.
The country suspended regular international flights in March 2020.
