Indian airline industry at ‘breaking point’

The Indian airline industry had been in a precarious position long before Covid-19. It’s a cut-throat market with extremely tight margins. After a months-long lockdown, loadings are limited and fares are now capped.
This is all taking a toll on the industry and there could be some consolidation in the coming months.
