Authorities in Russia are investigating after a plane crashed shortly after take-off near Moscow, reportedly leaving no survivors among its 65 passengers and six crew.
The AN-148 aircraft, operated by Saratov airlines, disappeared from radars five minutes after taking off at 11.22am local time on Sunday February 11, from Domodedovo Airport in the Russian capital, bound for Orsk in the Urals.
Russia’s Tass news agency said fragments have been found around 25 miles from the airport and there are no survivors.
An investigation has opened into the cause of the accident, with one theory being poor visibility due to heavy snowfall.
