Investigations will continue into the Carnival cruise ship mishap at Baltimore which caused serious damage at the cruise terminal at the weekend.
The Carnival Pride crashed into a walkway as it came in to dock on Sunday at the Maryland cruise terminal, causing the raised walkway to crash down on top of several parked cars.
The cars were owned by cruise employees, the line said.
No one was injured and the ship, which was returning from an eight-day cruise to the Bahamas, only suffered minor damage said Carnival spokeswoman Jennifer De La Cruz.
Passengers were forced to use an alternative exit at pier level.
Both Carnival and the Coast Guard are working to find the cause of the collision.
"We are eager as much as Carnival and the Coast Guard to find out exactly what happened and to make sure this doesn’t happen again," said port spokesman Richard Scher.
The Pride’s next sailing departed from the port after only a short delay.
