Hawaii interisland carrier Island Air is launching airline journey travel coupons, available for sale to members of its loyalty program.
There will be two separate ‘Island Travel Pak’ packages for leisure and business travelers.
The ‘Holoholo’ package, targeting leisure travelers, offers six one-way coupons for $429.
The ‘Ka Elele’ package offers 20 flight segments for $1,499, or the equivalent of $74.95 per one-way flight.
To be eligible to buy a Travel Pak, customers must first sign up to the Island Miles frequent flier program.
"As part of our focus on providing residents and visitors with an economical, quality travel experience, Island Air is excited to offer Travel Paks for leisure or business interisland travelers," said Island Air CEO Dave Pflieger.
"Island Air’s Travel Paks provide a convenient way for travelers to explore more of Hawai’i at an unbeatable price."
The coupons can be used on routes between Honolulu and Lanai or Kahului, or from Lanai to Kahului.
Island Air said the coupons are non-refundable and valid for 12 months with no blackout dates.
Rewards members will receive 500 Island Miles for each segment traveled on a Travel Pak booking which can be redeemed for further travel on Island Air or for flights with United Airlines, one of Island Air’s frequent flier partners.
