Jet2.com expands Canaries winter programme
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have added further capacity for Canary Islands flights this coming winter season.
It has bolstered the pogramme with more than 25,000 extra seats departing from five UK airports in response to demand.
The extra capacity is for February and March 2025 to Tenerife, Lanzarote and Gran Canaria.
A week ago Jet2.com and Jet2holidays announced that it will launch flights and holidays to the Canaries from Bournemouth Airport for winter 2024/25.
This represents Jet2.com and Jet2holidays’ biggest ever winter sun programme to the Canary Islands, with over 2.25 million seats on sale,
This equates to a 15% a capacity increase.
There will be over 225 weekly departures to the Canaries from the UK at key periods during the winter.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2 said: “The continued appeal of the Canary Islands as a winter sun favourite means we are adding even more choice.”
“We know how much holidaymakers love these islands for winter sunshine.”
