JetBlue is boosting its transcontinental network between Florida and the West Coast with a new nonstop route and more Mint premium service.
JetBlue is adding new nonstop flights from Orlando to Los Angeles starting on January 5, 2017.
It will deploy Airbus A320 aircraft on the route.
"This is a big win for our Florida and California customers who are eager to have more choices when traveling cross country," said Dave Clark, vice president network planning, JetBlue.
"The Sunshine State and the Golden State have been so important to JetBlue’s growth and success, which is why we are so pleased to continue to deliver on our plan to expand on both coasts."
The previously announced route from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood to San Francisco will then be upgraded to include premium Mint service from May 15, 2017.
The new route launches on March 20, 2017.
According to JetBlue Mint aircraft include the longest fully-flat bed seating in the US domestic premium market inside fully enclosed private suites with a 15-inch flat screen monitor.
