The summer fun continues on Labor Day weekend at Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort. 

A full program of activities is planned, like aquatic adventures, food trucks, live entertainment, tribute bands and family-friendly games from Friday, August 30 through Monday, September 2, 2024.

Soak up the rays at Newport Dunes’ Inflatable Aquatic Park, open daily through Labor Day. It features extra-large inflatables including a 17-feet long slide, climbable icebergs, monkey bars, bouncers, slides and more. Additional water activities include pedal boats, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and 21-feet electric Duffy boats. Watersports activities can be booked online at NewportDunes.com.

Tunes at the Dunes runs throughout the weekend with live music from David Rosales (country, folk, blues, rock), Jimmy’s Buffet (Jimmy Buffett tribute band), and DSB (Journey tribute band). There are many food truck offerings and a fully stocked bar with cocktails, beer, and wine. Bring beach chairs and floats to enjoy the tunes from the beach or in the water.

Resort guests can partake in a variety of exciting weekend activities such as Arts & Crafts, Spikeball, Horseshoes and Cornhole tournaments, plus Family Bingo. Explore the scenery of Newport Beach with beach cruiser rentalss. Explore the preserved wetlands of Newport’s Back Bay at your own pace.

For those looking for the ultimate shoreside VIP experience, Newport Dunes offers private beachfront cabanas for daily rentals to both resort guests and the public. Relax under a breezy, shaded area between dips in the calm waters of Newport Dunes’ bay. Overnight guests can also enjoy poolside cabanas in the resort’s pool complex.

Moe B’s Munchies, Newport Dunes’ walk-up beachfront bar and grill, will be open Labor Day weekend, Friday through Monday. Savor American classics including hot dogs, pizza, sandwiches and salads, complemented by a selection of cocktails. Dine al fresco on the patio or opt for a picnic along the water.

Experience the luxury of  waterfront RV and tent camping sites and cozy beach cottages for the ultimate end-of-summer glamping getaway. For those who do not own an RV, Newport Dunes lists many local RV rental companies on its website that can deliver an RV to your site, all hooked up and ready to enjoy. Spaces fill up quickly during holiday weekends and can be booked two years in advance by visiting NewportDunes.com. Starting September 8 through December 19, Newport Dunes is offering a weekday offer of 20% off RV sites and cottages for Monday through Thursday night bookings.
