Some top trends for meeting and incentive planners as seen by Fairmont Hotels & Resorts:

• Spouse programs are re-appearing in corporate meeting programs after being eliminated from budges in past years. Children are also more often being considered.

• All-inclusive trips are gaining popularity, along with best value.

• TV-inspired “Survivor” themed programs as gaining popularity with groups.

• Planners more often want one single contact person throughout their program rather than switching departments.

• Spas are no longer an option, but a “must have.”

• Distinctive and unusual cooking methods are becoming popular. And lighter and quicker food fare is a trend.
