More African countries added to red list
Four more African countries were added to the red list as the new Omicron Covid-19 variant was detected in the UK. Health Secretary Sajid Javid announced Angola, Mozambique, Malawi and Zambia were added.
They join red-listed countries South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Eswatini, Zimbabwe and Namibia. People with travel in these 10 countries in the past 10 days they must self-isolate and undergo PCR tests.
