More cruise lines join Expedition Cruise Network
Three expedition cruise lines, Seabourn, Silversea and Heritage Expeditions, have joined the recently formed Expedition Cruise Network (ECN).
It brings the membership total to fourteen.
Additionally, over 250 travel agents have signed up to the trade membership portal within just two weeks of the network’s launch.
Martin Johnson, Chairman of the Expedition Cruise Network said: “It’s incredible to see the initial response of ECN both in terms of new operators joining the network, and travel trade members.”
The network has three categories of members:
Expedition Cruise Members – include AE Expeditions, Albatros Expeditions, Hapag Lloyd Cruises, Hurtigruten, Lindblad Expeditions, PONANT, Quark Expeditions and Swan Hellenic
Travel Trade Members – including travel agents, tour operators, travel designers, product, marketing and professionals supporting sales of expedition cruises.
Associate Members – companies and organisations supporting and/or have a commercial interest in the expedition cruise sector.
During ECN’s launch period, ten travel trade professionals who join by the end of May will be treated to an evening hosted by Lindblad Expeditions in June.
It features a rib boat ride onboard Thames Rockets speedboat with expedition leader and marine biologist Brad Siviour, followed by a drinks reception in London.
Travel trade members can sign up to join the network free of charge.
