MSC Cruises' latest ship named Seascape

MSC Cruises’ second Seaside EVO ship has a name.

The new ship will be named MSC Seascape, during a reveal at the traditional coin ceremony at Fincantieri’s shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy.

Pierfrancesco Vago, Executive Chairman, MSC Cruises said, "When she joins our fleet, MSC Seascape will generate meaningful economic impact not only for the shipbuilding industry and its entire supply chain but for all the ports and destinations that she reaches, strengthening coastal tourism and supporting the vital economic recovery."

MSC Seascape, like sister ship MSC Seashore, offer a variety of brand-new features, spaces and experiences for guests.

It is scheduled to enter service in November 2022 and will be able to accommodate 5,877 guests.

Vago added, "As with every new vessel that we build, we are equipping MSC Seascape with some of the latest environmental technologies and solutions, including cutting edge emissions reduction and wastewater treatment systems.."

Seascape will have a dozen stateroom categories, 11 dining venues and19 bars and lounges, six swimming pools and a 540-metre-long waterfront promenade close to the water.
