Need a complimentary nanny?
Here’s an unusual hotel service that may catch on with those who can afford $US1,300 a night: complimentary nannies on call 24 hours a day.
That’s being offered by the beachfront, upscale Hotel Esencia, a member of Small Luxury Hotels in the World in Mexico’s Riviera Maya.
“Esencia now offers complimentary nannies-on-call around the clock (a $US45 value) for guests who want to indulge in a massage at Aroma Spa or dine at Sal y Fuego,” the hotel says.
Aroma Spa is the only organic spa in the region and uses indigenous herbs, plants and flowers picked from its garden for body treatments. Sal y Fuego specializes in Mesoamerican cuisine, native to the Yucatan region.
Guests can opt for the complimentary service for up to two hours at the Front Desk after booking a spa treatment or making dinner reservations.
The hotel has two-bedroom cottages with large private pools and a gourmet kitchen. Cottage rates start a $1,300 per night for up to four people.
Bet the nanny doesn’t get much of that $1,300!
