New appointments at Royal Caribbean
Royal Caribbean has made a number of new appointments to its UK sales team, including a new head of retail south, Jemma Beach.
Beach, who was previously travelling sales manager for the APAC region, replaces Lucy Preece.
Also, Sophie Wilson has been promoted to key account manager northeast and Scotland, replacing Angela Jones who was promoted to head of key accounts earlier this year.
Following Wilson’s promotion, Adam Morris has joined as regional sales manager northeast from Thomas Cook, where he was a large store manager and cruise expert for the North East region.
Emma Sweeney has also joined RCL from TUI as regional sales manager for Scotland, Cumbria and Lancashire. She was previously working for TUI as a retail manager.
Michelle Ryan will also be joining the business this week from TravelMedia.ie in Ireland, taking on the role of regional sales manager for Ireland, a role made vacant by Michaela Banks, following her promotion to key account manager in June
Interim sales director UK & Ireland Stuart Byron said: "I’m delighted to see so many people developing their careers within the business, as well as new faces that can bring fresh and innovative ideas to the team.
"It’s exciting to know that we have so much experience within our brand, across so many different locations, ensuring that we can continue providing support and bringing our extraordinary~ product to the trade throughout the UK and Ireland."
