Seabourn has named former US Naval officer Brian Badura as director of public relations and strategic initiatives.
Badura will be responsible for the line’s communications and public relations activities, including the upcoming launches of its two new ships Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Ovation over the next two years.
He was previously public affairs officer for the US Navy for 15 years and was stationed at various locations overseas, in charge of communications for ship deployments and homecomings.
Badura oversaw a variety of functions with the US Navy including media relations, crisis communication and news production.
"We are honored to have Brian with us, leading public relations efforts for Seabourn during this pivotal growth period. His past experience in public affairs with the US Navy is nothing but distinctive, and his capabilities have shaped him into an incredible asset for our team," said John Delaney, Seabourn’s senior vice president of global marketing and sales.
