New TravelAd marketing platform Joins UKInbound

Global marketing platform TravelAd which facilitates UK travel, attractions and hospitality brands to connect with international tourists has joined UKInbound.
New to the UK, TravelAd allows brands to directly engage with travellers both before and on arrival in the UK.
Through exclusive agreements with mobile operators, TravelAd delivers targeted messaging via SMS, WhatsApp, and Push notifications.
TravelAd says it is currently the only marketing platform in the world that offers real-time, location-based engagement with travellers when they enter the country.
This creates new opportunities for tourism businesses to drive bookings.
Paul Black, UK Country Manager, TravelAd said, “No other platform offers what we do – we are able to offer UK leisure and hospitality brands a special opportunity to directly reach inbound tourists at the ideal moment, when they arrive here in the UK “
“Through short messages and notifications on popular messaging apps, we connect businesses with affluent international travellers who are actively looking for experiences, attractions, and hospitality services.“
This real-time engagement ensures that brands can influence visitor decisions when it matters most, Black says.
Joss Croft OBE, CEO of UKInbound said “TravelAd’s ability to target international visitors to the UK when they arrive, and are ready to buy, makes their platform attractive to the inbound industry.”
