New Year cheer from OzJet
OzJet, the new airline that has upgraded travel between Australia’s two biggest cities with spacious leather seats and superior service, today introduces a two-for-one special.
Travellers buying any OzJet ticket from now until January 31, 2006, can get another equivalent journey – for themselves, a friend, relative or colleague – for free, to be used by February 28, 2006.
OzJet chief executive Hans van Pelt says the airline has received lots of very positive passenger feedback since it began operations late last year and the special deal for the next few weeks will let more people experience OzJet’s unique new service at amazing prices.
OzJet already offers flights between Sydney and Melbourne in its extra-wide seats (47cm between the armrests) from $249.
Now travellers can fly twice as far with OzJet in the next few weeks without spending another cent.
Apart from OzJet’s quick check-in (including over the internet) and easy boarding, passengers can take three pieces of hand luggage in the cabin, enjoy proper meals on fine china and complementary beverages and service levels not normally associated with domestic air travel.
OzJet’s Boeing 737 aircraft have only 60 of the large leather seats each.
The airline is operating three jets on Australia’s busiest route and a fourth 737 will be in service by mid-February to provide greater peak-time frequency morning and evening in response to customer feedback and demand. Further aircraft will arrive early this year for OzJet to implement its market expansion plans by introducing services to other capital cities.
OzJet is already setting industry-leading standards, with a 92 per cent on-time departure performance record in December in only its first full month of operation!
An article in Australian Aviation magazine’s January/February edition says that “there is no question that the spaciousness of seating, generous 20kg hand luggage allowance and lavish catering is equal to or quite possibly better than any other domestic airline product in Australia (including business class)”.
And, after just six weeks in the air, feedback from OzJet passengers includes these comments:
- “A product that the market wants that is better than the alternatives.”
- “There is no contest – OzJet is superior.”
- “A top-shelf experience.”
- “Finally we have an airline that truly understands the nature of service.”
OzJet chief executive Mr van Pelt says: “Because OzJet is so different to other airlines it is not until people experience flying with us that they fully appreciate what we have to offer.”
“With OzJet, everyone is upgraded!
“There also are plenty of options with this two-for-one offer – once you’ve bought one flight you can either take another flight yourself, or let a friend, a relative or a colleague avail themselves of the opportunity to fly with OzJet too.”
