Norwegian Cruise Line’s latest ship Norwegian Joy has floated out from Meyer Werft’s shipyard in Germany.
The 3,850 passenger ship is the second Breakaway Plus Class but with a difference – it is the first Norwegian ship designed for the China market.
Norwegian Joy features The Haven exclusive ship-within-a-ship complex, open-air laser tag course and an industry first racetrack at sea.
It also has an observation deck with 180-degree views.
Norwegian commissioned Chinese artist Tan Ping for the hull artwork.
Norwegian will take delivery of the ship next month and then it will sail voyages from Shanghai and Tianjin.
