Oyo files for IPO
Indian hospitality Unicorn Oyo has filed for an initial public offering hoping to raise about US$1.1 billion. India’s third-most valuable startup has operations in 35 countries although more than 90% of the hotels listed are in India, Malaysia, Indonesia and Europe.
The bulk of current shareholding is held by SoftBank Vision Fund and founder Ritesh Agarwal with 47% and 33% respectively. Its loyalty programme in India has 9.2 million subscribers.
