Pandaw Mekong river cruises to dock in central Saigon
Asia river cruising operator Pandaw will soon dock all Mekong river sailings in central Saigon.
The new arrival point takes affect from September 2024.
Pandaw currently docks at My Tho where the majority of Mekong river cruise operators arrive.
The decision to dock in central Saigon cuts the two-hour transfer from My Tho which is getting busier due to increasing numbers of river cruise ships operating in the region.
It allows guests to experience the more authentic side of the Mekong river in comfort.
Guests on upstream Mekong river sailings from Saigon to Siem Reap will embark from 10am and enjoy lunch onboard whilst sailing.
Guests on downstream sailings from Siem Reap to Saigon have a sunset dinner onboard while sailing into central Saigon on the final evening.
Pandaw has also announced that from September 2024 cabins on all of their vessels will be upgraded with tea and coffee making facilities as well as a fridge and fully-stocked minibar.
