Passenger charged for punching flight attendant

A California man is potentially facing a long stretch in prison.

Alexander Tung Cuu Le, 33, was seen on cellphone footage punching a flight attendant.

He is charged with interfering with flight crew, which can lead to 20 years in federal prison.

The American Airlines flight was flyng from San José del Cabo to Los Angeles.

The flight attendant was punched in the back of the head after he turned away to inform the captain of Le’s unruly behavior.

Le was restrained with the help of passengers.

“Acts of violence against our team members are not tolerated by American Airlines,” the airline said.
