As the summer season heats up, the family-friendly parks around the Pennsylvania Dutch country are rolling out new attractions.

Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom in Allentown has added an All Wheel Sports show, a high-energy BMX-style bike show with bikers and skaters who were semifinalists in NBC’s "America’s Got Talent," take the stage and perform stunts that defy gravity.

The park has more than 100 rides and attractions, including eight roller coasters and the Planet Snoopy theme park for kids, plus Dinosaurs Alive!, with 30 animatronic dinosaurs.

In Lancaster, Dutch Wonderland celebrates its 50th birthday with two new shows, Decades of Dutch Wonderland and Really Royal: The Story of Princess Brooke.

Hersheypark in Hershey has a new Shoreline Sprayground, two new water slides and more seating and shade at The Boardwalk. It has 65 rides and attractions, including The Boardwalk at Hersheypark with nine unique water rides, and ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park.

Knoebels Amusement Resort in Elysburg has a new 148-foot-tall drop tower, the StratosFear, and Crazy Sub, a submarine-themed family ride.

And for the little ones, Sesame Place in Langhorne has new entertainment from Laurie Berkner and Imagination Movers; more quick-dining options, including an Elmo’s Box Lunch program and a food truck; new character dining experiences; and an enhanced fireworks display.
