Wednesday, 11 Sep, 2006 0
Transonic CEO Peter Lacaze has resigned from his position as an S8 executive, but will continue to be a director of the firm until the completion of the MFS takeover.

Lacaze has told Transonic staff that effective last Friday he’ll “cease to act as the Chief Executive Officer of Transonic Travel”.

He said the recent appointment of Gullivers chief Bruce Cotterill, who’ll in turn report to Chirs Scott, means its “now appropriate that I step aside to allow a free hand to Bruce and the rest of the team”.

A statement from S8 said Lacaze is committed to the MFS offer for S8 and will remain a director until finalisation of the transaction.
