Phu Quoc set for October reopening
Vietnam’s southern tourist island Phu Quoc has earmarked October for its restart. It will allow fully-vaxxed international travellers back with vaccine passports.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has proposed the reopening which will allow 2,000 to 3,000 visitors per month via charter flights for phase 1 in select locations. That will be increased to up to 10,000 visitors per month by early 2022, according to the proposed timeline.
