Qantas adds more India flights
Melbourne will get a direct air link to New Delhi for the first time. Qantas announced a new route between the Vic capital and New Delhi alongside a new service from Sydney starting next month.
CEO Alan Joyce expects the Melbourne route to do well, given the ‘unbelievable’ volume of bookings on the new Sydney-Delhi service.
The flights will be the first to India for nearly a decade. "We think demand is going to be quite substantial," Joyce said.
