Qantas to drop Bali Darwin route

Qantas has announced today that it will withdraw services between Darwin and Bali from October 2007.

Qantas Regional General Manager Northern Territory John Cason said the services, which operates twice a week, had been unprofitable for some time with little or no likelihood of improvement, adding, “Qantas is in discussion with Airnorth regarding a possible codeshare on Airnorth’s new 76-seat Embraer aircraft”.
