Qatar Airways is to relaunch flights from London Gatwick seven years after withdrawing from the airport for commercial reasons.
It will launch double daily flights to and from Doha from May 22 using Boeing 787 aircraft as part of a joint business with British Airways.
Announcing the decision at ITB in Berlin this week, Qatar chief executive Akbar Al Baker said the UK is one of the airline’s most important markets.
It will also launch flights from Cardiff in May.
