Qatar Airways will offer daily non-stop flights between Dublin and Doha from June 12.
Operated by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, the new service will allow passengers from Ireland to travel not only to Qatar but also onwards to more than 150 business and leisure destinations.
Qatar Airways has opened 13 new destinations in 2016 year-to-date, including Birmingham, Helsinki, Sydney and Adelaide, and Krabi in Thailand.
The airline will also return to the Seychelles with a direct service from Doha on December 12.
