QuickCheck in with Qantas - TravelMole

QuickCheck in with Qantas

Friday, 11 Oct, 2005 0

Qantas has begun a National roll out of a new service for domestic flights designed to eventually eliminate check-in queues.

“Qantas is committed to offering customers the very best travel experience on the ground as well as in the air,” Qantas executive general manager airports and catering Grant Fenn said.

Designed to take no longer than 60 seconds, customers with bags will obtain a boarding pass from a QuickCheck kiosk before proceeding to a bag drop point where Qantas customer service staff will tag and accept bags ready for their flight.

The first QuickCheck service will be introduced in Brisbane, followed by Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra over the next couple of months.

Perth and Adelaide will follow in early 2006.
