RCL appoints Adam Goldstein as vice chairman

Royal Caribbean Cruises’ long serving Adam Goldstein has a new position.

Beginning in May Goldstein becomes vice chairman.

He has been serving as RCL’s president and chief operating officer since 2014.

Goldstein joined RCL way back in 1988 and has held a variety of posts including CEO of Royal Caribbean International.

He also served a term as chair of Cruise Lines International Association and currently chairs the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association.

Goldstein’s current area of responsibility includes HR, supply chain, corporate communications, safety government relations, guest port operations and commercial development.

As vice chairman he will continue to lead government relations and destination strategy.

"Adam has played a pivotal role in our success since he joined the company in 1988. He has exerted a positive influence across the company and provides exemplary leadership in our industry and in the communities we serve," said RCL CEO, Richard Fain.
