Rocco Forte Hotels has opened the Assila Hotel in Jeddah, the group’s first in Saudi Arabia.
Occupying two towers, the hotel is on Prince Mohamed Bin Abdulaziz Street, formerly known as Tahlia Street, and has 147 deluxe, superior deluxe and executive rooms, 63 suites, and 94 fully-serviced residential suites.
It has five restaurants, a rooftop pool, two squash courts, a gym, spa, meeting rooms and a ballroom.
It was designed by Olga Polizzi, director of design for Rocco Forte Hotels and Sir Rocco Forte’s sister.
Selected rooms are available now and reservations are now being taken for the remaining rooms, available from February 1 2017.
