Thrill-seekers got more than they bargained for when they were stranded 30 feet in the air in a roller coaster accident.

The Ninja roller coaster hit a tree branch at the Six Flags Magic Mountain amusement park in California, dislodging the front car, leaving all 22 passengers stranded for three hours.

Four people were injured and two taken to hospital following the accident, which left at least one car dangling at an angle.
